Mechanical Fitter

 

The Role

​

Your Primary Role will be to work within a fast-paced team supporting the assembly and commissioning of special purpose machines, as well as working off-site to support machine installation and breakdown.

​

The Right Person must:

​

  • Highly Self-Motivated

  • Be able to problem solve in challenging environments

  • Be available to work overtime at short notice

  • Demonstrate good housekeeping and safe working practices at all times

​

Key Requirements

​

  • Time Served

  • Full Driving License

  • Good understanding of mechanical principles

  • Ability to read and understand mechanical drawings

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Excellent attention to detail

  • Knowledge of Pneumatic practices

  • Basic electrical knowledge desirable

  • Qualified to BTEC ONC/HNC or equivalent preferred but not essential
