Toolmaker / Machinist

The Role

​

Your Primary Role will be to work within the manufacturing team. Machining components using all available shop-floor equipment, including; Saws, Milling Machines, Lathes, Grinders and EDM Equipment.

Highly Self-Motivated

Available to work overtime at short notice

Always demonstrate good housekeeping and safe working practices

​

Key Requirements

​

Time Served

Minimum 2 years relevant experience

Excellent Manual Milling skills (Prototrak knowledge desirable)

Experience of Wire Erosion, Spark Erosion, CNC, Surface Grinding all desirable

Subcontract experience preferred but not essential

Experience of Machine Building desirable

Qualified to BTEC ONC/HNC or equivalent preferred but not essential

Mig/Tig Welding experience desirable

Full Driving License

Flexible approach to overtime to meet demands of subcontract machining
